Cotton Rose ring 
Pattern by Haylees Hats 

My crochet rose ring

Materials
 2 shades of 100% cotton 4 ply. 1 shade green and other shade rose colour of your choice.
Tapestry needle
scissors
3.00mm Hook
Stitches 
(Written in american terms)
HDC - Half double crochet
Ch - Chain
st - Stitch
Step 1
Starting with a slip knot Ch12 (to make a larger band Ch15)
Step 2
HDC in 2nd ch from hook and each st to end. ( 11HDC) for larger size (14HDC) fasten off leaving a long tail end to sew together the two ends to create a band. Insure you weave in your beginning tail end first.Weave in tail end and break away.
Step 3 (making the rose)
Start with a slip knot CH11
2HDC in 2nd ch from hook and each st to end (20HDC)
coil to make a rose shape and sew together to prevent it from uncoiling. Next sew the rose onto the band at the join (this is where you joined the two band ends together) Once your rose is secured to the band, weave in the end and break away.
Congratulations you have made your beautiful cotton rose ring. Enjoy!
Top Tip!
Keep your tail ends and use this to tie your ring to a card. This will look great as a gift or will look presentable for your customers.

My crochet Amigurumi  Hello kitty creations


I purchased the pattern for these cute dolls here by KandJdolls on etsy. I just change the face to make it look like hello kitty.
I cant wait to make the rest of the gang, they are so cute.

My crochet cotton creations

I love working with cotton. The stitches I feel look different, more textured. I love everything I have made this week using cotton. If you would like me to write up the patterns for the face cloths and the ring please leave a comment.

Crochet hats


I have been away for what seems like an eternity. I have been very busy crocheting you will be happy to hear. I have been busy making hats and lovely cotton creations. I have also managed one 'fresh off tha hook ' video too. I will post the photos below of the lovely things I have been busy making. I hope you like them as much as I like making them. I love how crochet can brighten ones day and how there is no end to what you can make with crochet. Please feel free to leave comments below. I would love to hear from you all.


First up is this beautiful primrose flower fairy hat. Pattern is written by the lovely Janet Taylor.

Next up is this lovely Zebra beanie. I love the way the stripes get thicker and thiner.

Dinosaur ear flap beanie


I got the main body of the hat pattern from Teresa Richardson found here I free-styled the dino details. It is for a little girl. I added the head and flower embellishment to make it look a little more feminine.

I love this hat, the colours are hot pink and purple.


Giraffe ear flap beanie 


This has got to be one of my favourite animal hats to date. I love the colours and the way it came out was perfect. Its fantastic and amazing! I LOVE it with a capital L.

The pattern can be purchased  here written  by speckled frog creations. The pattern was easy to read and well written.



Elephant beanie

I made this using the same hat pattern as above for the main body. I then free-styled the elephant features and added an apple button. I love the colours.
